Ew!!! Also in the Post that day (reference other post)

So,

Another article in the Business section entitled, "Surfing Roads Less Traveled: Ashburn Firm Makes WiMax a Reality in Small-Town," discusses how DigitalBridge's and Sprint's efforts to make WiMax a local reality. DigitalBridge is targeting cities larger than 150,000 in population and will deliver "the Internet" access with speeds comparable to the office and wired broadband in homes. Very exciting!

Is anyone using WiMax? Please share your experience and stories, I am eager to see what this technology will bring to me in my life.

I was reading the Washington Post the other day...

So,

I actually read the Post everyday.

So..... On Monday June 30 on the front page of the business section was a headline that read, "Google Enters ComScore's Turf." The word Google captured my attention. Apparently, Comscore is a small Reston, VA-based firm that provides web analytics services. Well, Google does the same thing. Should Comscore be scared? They say they are not because, "Google's main interest is to sell more display advertising rather than be in the audience measurement business." Comscore claims that they are a neutral third party provider with greater credibility and integrity in providing web analytics services than Google and the like.

Did anyone else read this great article?

OMG! - Six Revisions has another great post!

http://sixrevisions.com/tools/faster_web_page/

The article discusses 15 tools that assist in the analysis and design for faster web pages.

The one (tool) I found most interesting was "Cuzillion." This tool is geared towards visualizing page component interactions.

Has anyone ever used these tools?

Issues with formatting in Firefox and IE

http://www.webdeveloper.com/forum/showthread.php?p=897347#post897347

I was reading yet another interesting post about a developer attempting to use a web tool for format, but the desired results are not provided in both browsers. The developer is attempting to comply with XHTML Transitional 1.0.

Given additional circumstances, the developer is getting an uninvited boarder around a flash object in IE.

I think the web standards and products are making great improvements in interoperability and maturity -- however there still seems to be much work in chasing these demons.
